Podcasts are hard (but fun!)
I started a podcast ingeniously called 'HYPEWORKS’ with my friend Jake Hissitt 3 months ago. We wanted to just have fun, check in and talk about the most pressing Marketing topics of the moment. What started as fun is actually becoming ‘something’, and we decided to invite on our first guest, Tech Influencer Justin Tse.

Lensa and AI Future
I caved: downloaded the Lensa App that according to preliminary estimates provided by Sensor Tower, over 4 million people worldwide downloaded already in December (with over $8 million in app purchases!)
As fun as it is AI and in this use case, AI-generated profile pictures, there’s possibly a few consequences that we need to be wary of. First, the internet is full of images of you via your social media profiles and friends pics already. But think about adding to that and whether you want to before you go and create a half-naked pic as i did above!
Secondly, the more we use AI and machine learning to understand more about human behaviour, the more we have to be prepared for this technology to replace us. And in the case of this simple app, who knows where it could lead to. An obviously one with Lensa is graphic designers and artists, but really, it could be any white collar worker in the near future.
